I had this one once.
Gorgeous movement. But tourbillons aren’t magical to me. Make sure that that complication alone will satisfy you.

At the time I got it I thought I had achieved horological heaven: a Breguet tourbillon. Then I quickly realized that tourbillons did nothing enchanting for me. I came to the opinion that they were vanity projects for watchmakers. Which is fine-much of mechanical watches and watchmaking is that. But this particular endeavor didn’t excite me like flybacks and rattrapantes did. And now chronometres. Having said all that (bet you wish you hadn’t asked) this movement in particular is stunning. But get the YG Marine!!!!

Lugs apart, I love Breguets
and its wide selection of tourbillons, the 5317 being no exception! That 5 day power reserve was quite something in its day and still is actually. The engraved movement is a huge plus and I will not even mention the dial 
Stunning movement
Very balanced dial. If the goal is to own a tourbillon this is the classic example. I think there are other Breguet references that are more graceful with more complicated guilloche but this is definitely a serious presence on the wrist. I wouldn't say no.
At 66%off, still decided to pass.

I’m much more hesitant now, before pulling the trigger. It has to be a burning desire to own it, before I buy it. There are so many watches that I like - but I’m not sure they would make me a happier person. Ownership is an other issue.
I think of it like a museum--many beautiful things to look at but no need to take home! [nt]

A very nice watch, great complication horologically (but I feel a bit like Padj).
5 days Reserve is very nice, although I feel they should have put a 0 instead of the decreasing lines, it does not match the rest of the style of the watch.
It is a Breguet so should be easy to resell if you don't feel the love anymore (although I never buy with that in mind).

Bought a good example of a yellow gold bracelet pre-swatch Breguet that I think will be fun to own.
I hate excessive text
Especially on a dress watch. That means the "five days" on the top example is a non-starter for me. I much prefer using all Roman numerals like the bottom example. I find the shape of the power reserve window, specifically the hard acute angle at the bottom, a bit inelegant.
The rest is lovely.
