Breguet 5317 ...Anybody have any comment?
Hi All,
I have come to the conclusion that I would like the 5317BA/12/9V6 to be my next watch.
I say so because it has the basic H + M & S hands, has a 5 day reserve with a Power Indicator , tourbillon, a saphire back and the Movement is engraved. ........In my mind, this has to be close to the perfect watch for me.
I have searched the Forum for info, and can not find one reference to this model on PuristsPro, and so ask Members to give any relevent info on all and any aspects such as;
- Movement Origin, it is listed as a 587DR, also
- Is the engraved work on the movement, that is visable through the back, on solid gold or gold plated brass, etc
- Is the 587DR used in any other watches
- How long has this watch and movement been around, did it evolve or is it a unique piece?
Any other info would be welcome.
