I am totally with you. Without stones, it is irresistible. And the clutch bag is so brilliant! [nt]

2020 Novelties. Breguet La Tradition Seconde Retrograde 7038 ( for ladies ) and 7097 ( for men ).

2 new La Tradition are born. Well, two new versions of the La Tradition Seconde Retrograde, to be precise. One for ladies, the Reference 7038, in rose gold ( 37 mm case ) with a fluted bezel paved with diamonds and a ruby on the crown. The dial is guilloc...

Great idea!!! [nt]

Both are lovely, on both sides...and the choice of the men’s rotor is indeed a lovely touch🥂

PS. I don’t mind “big” boxes (when elegant/significant) but it would be great to always include a smaller, practical leather case👍Cheers.

Like the ladies version more

The PR indicator on the men’a version really irritates me a lot mon ami.

Both versions are quite nice, but the ladies is top!

Great color scheme for the ladies and the dial is gorgeous. Thanks for posting. M4

I’m a lady for this one.

Without the stones I would seriously consider the ladies version. For the size, the case and movement finish combination and the dial. And of course the fact that the PR does not overlap. And the clutch idea, now that was smart. I can’t believe this wasn’...

Agree 100% about the diamonds. Is it a lack of confidence in the design or a lack of understanding of women?

Besides, if you're going to do something with diamonds, make it unusual. This is the most common application of diamonds. It only detracts from what is otherwise a superb watch, in my view.

Both versions are awesome. The men's 7037 is the old version of what is now the ladies' 37mm, something to look on chrono24 for.

Personally, this blue dial men's version is excellent and it refreshes the model in one step. I think the splash of color is highly welcome, yet the dark blue fits the understated palate and still allows the movement architecture to speak for itself.

Ladies look much better...

Without the retrograde second overlapping into the dial and the decorative center. Also both are boutique only meaning Breguet may start moving into selling by themselves and reducing ADs.

I am sure it will look good in metal: like it

Do you know if the dial is blue gold or painted blue? The dial itself is made ouf Gold, yes, but how was the blue made?

Thanks! [nt]

I have got the answer to the blue

The gold dial is being silver plated first and then galvanically plated with blue rhodium. Blue Rhodium means that an object in a galvanic rhodium bath turns first brown, then violet and finally blue.

Not flinque? [nt]

I still think the 7037 is the best version and one to buy.

The smaller size of the case is more in proportion to the size of the movement and there are no overlapping and missing markers, which is an instant deal breaker for me. Also, I don't understand why in the watch design world it's acceptable to have overla...

The dials of the first generation are a bit small

Setting my 7037 with the naked eye is quite a challenege ...

I wonder if there is no overlapping gauges in vehicles. I wonder if Porsche didn't have some... As for the 707,

it is still my favorite, because I love the 37 mm case and its manual winding movement.

Not feeling these

wishing for something vintage from Breguet... these are nice, no question, but it's more of what we've seen before with some minor modifications... Every Breguet Collector is DYING for the vintage Chrono reissue... and I know you all know what I mean.
