I am the owner of a Breguet La Tradition in yellow gold (ref. 7027) and I am not a big fan of the evolution of the new Tradition models (especially the 7057 which is a nonsense for me with the power reserve display on the dial side just put on the hour part just for 2mm more).
For me, Breguet lost a part of his soul with these new models as they want to do a link between past / history and modernity.
May be I am too peremptory but most of the novelties offer a disequilibrium in the organisation of their dial.

I haven't spent a lot of time with the the 7057 but...
The 7097 has a different movement with some small but interesting differences including the retrograde model. Now talking about your model vs. the 7057 to be honest I don't see why the 40mm bothers you I think that different people like would be attracted...
I am right with you about the different colours offered after the yellow gold
The rose gold, for example, is certainly one of the most desirable (and the white gold the less one as your Breguet looks like a "toy" in this version Regarding your model, of course Breguet added new complications which are nice. But, to be really honest...
conservative is good for this "la tradition" model :)
feel free to post photos of yours ! I still think Breguet move to keep both the 37mm and 40mm is a smart one and covers a bigger spectrum of the market.

wears amazingly well even for someone with a small wrist like mine. The slim bezel helps too. It is just 11.65mm thick so really perfect. A few years back I did try the 37mm and it wasn't as readable for sure. This new version has also a stunning charcoal...
