The Type XX is very appealing to me as well, and its history is interesting. I must admit that Nicolas' photos the vintage examples makes me appreciate the modern versions as well. Yours is certainly handsome.

You are really onto something here, Jed.
I have never felt that the modern silicon escapements fitted comfortably within the classical Breguet cases. Some of the watches, like the Pt Tradition Tourbillon, have a retro-modern feel, so I am comfortable with the newer materials. But your suggestion...
