Andrew, we're in complete agreement as to these numbers, and of course as to the 7027. Thanks, by, the way, for your post and for all the pictures.
If I were in charge of product development at Breguet,I think I would create two completely distinct lines. One would continue to include watches that carry forward the tradition, the dials, the classic DNA. The other, though, would draw on Breguet's history of innovation, in a completely modern, technological way. Nothing would look the way it used to look, except perhaps the Breguet trademark itself. Everything else would be innovative. I believe Breguet could establish itself as a leader both ways.

I have never felt that the modern silicon escapements fitted comfortably within the classical Breguet cases. Some of the watches, like the Pt Tradition Tourbillon, have a retro-modern feel, so I am comfortable with the newer materials. But your suggestion...
