Breguet Type XX 3860
For a long time I stalked the Type XX but could not bring myself to pull the trigger. Perhaps because I own a Breitling Cosmonaut and admit that the dial is too busy. Half the time it’s difficult to read the time on both the Breitling and the Type xx. One day in 2022, Hodinkee did a reference points article where I saw 2 interesting models: the salmon dial 3827 and the alarm 3860. Finally I found what I was looking for, as I had no idea they existed. I was especially drawn to the 3860 as it is quite unique. Last month I found one for sale and took the plunge! Looking forward to creating memories with this beauty on my wrist.

In terms of dial design, I think it is the best Type XX and to think that I had no knowledge of it’s existence 2 years ago.
I walked into the Breguet place Vendôme boutique with mine on the wrist
and even there, they had no clue about this one!
