We did it ourselves bit by bit with the help of some friends-most challenging was the programming and battery management-but had great support from the manufacturers Kräutler in Austria and Super B in Netherlands
Most crazy is the silence, like on a sail boat as you only hear the waves against the wooden ship hull.

Oh yes especially when the software tells you you have plenty of battery left but you don’t
We tried that a few times as the technology was super new. With this technology the software has to make sure you to both charge and discharge the batteries evenly.
Hows the range?
Guess there is a lack of superchargers in most ports aswell but can be a fun little project anyway.
It can charge on a normal plug and there’s a VfD regulator on board so you don’t take the breakers out in the harbour( we never did)
Takes 1 hour to reach 80% and another hour to get to 100%
It can run 4-5 hours on low speed 5-7 knots
Max speed 11 knots. But it’s not a planing boat. Even if you had a big engine this boat type will just dip.

And the point was sort of lost somehow. The area is fine for these 4-5 hours trips.
Yeah superchargers would be cool
We have a lot of electric boats in Copenhagen. But all rentals. No one private has done the jump yet. Except us. Hope we find someone just as crazy. It’s a joy to cruise in silence.

Of course. Love it! But that’s a different story. 800 HP?
