We have a group in our area of vintage Porsche owners and we went for a very early drive last Sunday

My 23 year old car is the newest in the group. 😂 Honestly, the morning drives on empty roads have been one of the few bright spots I’ve looked forward to during Covid. The place in the background is a breakfast place we stopped at. Really good, but no indoor seating anymore.

Enjoy the photos and let me know which of these old Porsches is your favorite. The owner of the breakfast place picked the baby blue 911.

Gone but not forgotten, back when 911s were small on the outside and big on the inside! ...

I like the 993

It was the 911 of my childhood and the car that caused me to love Porsche as a teenager. I lost interest with the arrival of the Boxter and later 996, but maybe I'll rediscover the brand some day. Thanks for sharing this drive and car caravan. Best, Tim

Love the Boxster

I also have a '14 Boxster and have had them since they came out. Manual shift and it is fun. Glued to the road. Face it, you can not drive them the way they are meant to driven and keep your license. Tim, try one, you will like it.

I've seen two 911S in the last two decades . . .

. . . and haven't given up hope of seeing another on the road. Baby blue for me, too.
