The car still has a 4 liter naturally aspirated flat six engine which revs up to 9,000 rpm (thank god or Andreas Preuninger π). It now has 510 hp vs. 500 hp of the previous model (991.2). Due to various improvements, in particular aerodynamics and chassis, the car is 17 seconds quicker around the Nordschleife than its predecessor and also quicker than the 991.2 GT3 RS.
