Looking and driving very, very good ... but still a Turbo S is the better buy, imho.
The Turbo S does the same on the track, but with more comfort in daily use.
On the German Autobahn you need elasticity in the midrange, that this one and all other standard 911 are "lacking" compared with other high power V8 cars around.
The Turbo S with its combination of hp and torque however is top in this regard.
This is the new 911 GT3 (992).
The car still has a 4 liter naturally aspirated flat six engine which revs up to 9,000 rpm (thank god or Andreas Preuninger 😂). It now has 510 hp vs. 500 hp of the previous model (991.2). Due to various improvements, in particular aerodynamics and chassis...

The Touring will be available in Autumn 2021.
My guess would be that between 5-10 seconds are due to the improved tires. 👍

Although the folks at DriveNation seemed pretty sure they were Cup 2Rs. I’m sure Porsche wouldn't be looking for any advantage.

Will be interesting to see how they can sell it after the initial frenzy with the current economy. With the 991.2 GT3 they had some problems in the end and only the speculative buyers for the touring edition saved them.
