I know you mentioned leaning towards the V8 and it certainly has it's advantages and the numbers are close enough but I hope you are table to test drive both, there's something about the feel of the v12 that's worth experiencing too. The sound of the huge starter to crank the big engine, the exhaust noise of course, and the smooth but still mechanical feel of the engine. There aren't that many opportunities for a manual v12 for reasonable money and it's an experience even if not really any more powerful or faster than the v8.
