I know the feeling !

Another glorious sounding machine my friend had during the same period was his 916 SPS with the 50 mm Termignoni's.
Hearing that bike coming from a distance and passing you was simply phenomenal. I remember a night ride with his SPS and me on my Bimota, the 600 Yamaha engine had quite some changes: Carbon Arrow, 4 KNN filters, purpose build Dynojet kit and that sound was out of this world. I just wish where that bike is right now, I should have never sold it honestly. As we came thundering down the road we encountered a Police trap, but the guy with the glowing stick signed we had to quickly pass through as they were only interested in stopping cars. So we lit it up going completely flat out, I think we passed those guy going over 200 kph. The following minutes at full throttle we saw several blue flashing lights all around, that was actually funny. A friend living several miles away heard the whole 'ordeal' ... a thundering 996cc V-Twin, a 600 4-pot and loads of police-sirenes. Another great 90ies night accomplished I should say.
