I can't do MacPherson Strut in windy canyon roads anymore...

Have you considered a Corvette Z06?  I haven't driven one, but I'm told it's very good.  A little heavy, but very practical, comfortable, and has double wishbone AND a TRUE DRY SUMP!  Even my Tesla Model 3 has a true double wishbone and it has a dry sump too (although the oil in the motor isn't there just to lubricate, it's also there to cool the copper coils).  Too bad the Tesla Model 3 has really crappy brakes - otherwise it actually makes a great canyon carver!

The 993 is definitely a looker.  The Turbo is still kind of modern in the power department.  With a 0-60 time of 4.8 seconds, you're still in fun territory.  But I'm much more of a driver...  And the modern cars are just easier to drive.

Totally agree with you on the Lamborghini.  The visibility is AWFUL!  The steering is so so.  The plastic trim on the steering wheel creaks.  The paddle shifter has bad haptics.  Even that red cover on the engine start/stop button upsets me because it's too light - there's no resistance - it feels like it'll break off one day.  But all that aside, that car is so darn good.  Changing lanes is a pain, the blind spot is so big that I have to speed up and slow down to see if there's something that appears in the mirror.  It's also too showy.  Although I keep on telling myself, if I get it in grey, I should be able to feel a little less self conscious...
