The roads out here may be slightly better when it comes to the asphalt but other than that some roads are empty and others clogged every hour of the day.
Example: the highway Dubai-Abu Dhabi has 7 lanes on each side yet 24/7 massive traffic.
So the government made an additional highway, parallel to the existing one just an odd 8-10 km more land inward. Left and right 7 lanes with options to increase.
Fully lite over a stretch of approx 95-100 km, gas stations the size of football stadiums. No toll!
Total distance is perhaps 5 km longer.
Know what: that new road is virtually empty 24/7
I now have the s class for 2 1/2 years. And it’s a fantastic car.
I have the stretched LWB version as the SWB is not sold out here.
It’s got a huge gasoline 8 cilinder engine as no diesel here and this was the smallest engine they sell
Fully loaded with all options
Yet I only paid € 86.000 brand new (still a shit load of money I know) and that was including 5 year maintenance and parts first year insurance.
Why so cheap compared to Europe?
No taxes my friend
