Corvette C8 ZR1

1064.  That's the number.  1064 horsepower.  838 pound feet of torque.  That's over 1100 newton meters!

1/4 mile time in under 10 seconds with a trip speed of around 150 miles per hour.

Price is unknown.

Forged aluminum alloy wheels are standard.  Carbon fiber wheels are optional.

Brembo Carbon ceramic brakes are standard.

A true dry sump lubrication system with multiple scavenge pumps and the requisite external oil tank.

And of course, a double wishbone front suspension.  A key thing.  Most Porsche 911s do not have this and this really hurts 911s in off-camber corners.  Can you believe, 911s and Boxster/Caymans have a super simple Macpherson strut set up?  We've got a lot of Porsche-philes here and I admit I was once a Porsche fan-boy until I learned I saw the light.

Again, price is unknown, but I have a feeling that it will be just under $200,000 US dollars.

Is this a new religion for sports car lovers?  Has Porsche been dethroned?  Is this the new Golden Calf!
