I can understand the feeling....
Jun 06, 2016,21:54 PM
I've owned two California since 2009 & really miss the ease of driving . The FF is the only one which I liked after that however iam surely enjoying my 612 .
As for the 5960p I bought it when I bought my F430 spider in 2008 and at that time it was commanding premium and was not possible to get a piece . However my 5960 p with anthracite dial had a history of mechanical issues hence replaced it with a Lange double split and never looked back until your buying experience reminded me .

PATRICKH! Thank you. Please PM me your address and I will send you a Patek leather watch roll for 4 watches. I followed your advice and bought a PP 5960P-016 as my driving watch. The following pictures will partly explain why. I thank you all who particip...

I checked the earlier posts and indeed you also proposed 5960P-016. If you PM your contacts, I would love to send you a small watch related thing. Best, Kari
very nice

The max. torque is on the 7th gear. The smaller gears there's enough torque but it's nothing shocking. Best, Kari
Kari, I am very Happy for you.

Your PP 5960P-016 with this "bespoke" strap fits perfectly on your wrist and matches with your beautiful California T. Thanks for sharing your joy to drive your Ferrari and come back home on that so elegant way. Huge congratulations. I am also Happy to ha...
Thanks. It was a hard drive

and when I drove well over 300 km/h close to Flensburg, I was shit scared... I guess I'm more of a Toyota Corolla Man. Anyhow, the watch feels perfect and it makes a nice "pair" with my Porsche 911 watch; Patek 5960/1A. Best, Kari
I agree! Perhaps

there are many much more "sophisticated" Patek but 5960 is among the most wearable ones. The combination of complications is just perfect and even the price is close to human range. Best, Kari
Thanks. Funny, 30 years ago with

a very basic car such a distance was nothing. Once I drove with just some tanking brakes from Hamburg to Budapest with a Peugeot 405. Now after 1,500 km I'm half dead. Probably should drive just to the grocery store and back. Best, Kari
Yes, I'm know for making bad choices.

This ordinary background means also lack of good taste. Unfortunately. But one needs to learn to live with that. Best, Kari
Thanks RG1

I changed now to 5960A and I do not really know which one I like more - the steel or the platinum version. That makes the steel version a good purchase. Best, Kari
Thanks Dave.

With different straps you can change the watch quite radically. CF in Paris is having a good selection and the only trick is to lean to order the right measurements. After that the imagination is the limit. Best, Kari
Congratulations

I spent thenday in the countryside in the Estonian island Saaremaa. I took again in the morning to my wrist 5960/1A. Naturally, the pt version is fantastic but on a beautiful summer day admiring the scenery and nature, 5960A has it all. It would be intere...
Congrats on both !

Cool pics btw !!! The reason why they release the max torque only in 7th (only in 7th ? Or also 5 and 6?) is to give you the feeling you're driving a naturally aspirated car ... and probably to spare the gearbox i guess . Did you you also get the 7 year f...
Yes, 7 years is free.
By: dr.kol : June 2nd, 2016-11:45
they explain just in the way you do that the max torque is on 7th gear in order to avoid turbo lag. The engine feels much better than BMW's 435i where the turbo lag is really disturbing. However, the overall character of my 911 GTS engine is perhaps nicer...
Thank you Ovi.

I am very happy with both. Cali T has indeed enough output and driving characteristics for any road scenario in Europe. When driving the car to home I noticed during those 1,500 km that this Ferrari is indeed a great GT car. It's always easy to argued "wh...

First of all, you said a key word: "Ease of driving". Cali T is easy and pleasant to drive when adjusted to comfort mode. But when using it in the sport mode and manual gear change, it turns to a beast. If you liked FF, what do you think about the new Lus...
Wow, I'm sure that
