About BERTONE ....
My friend had a Bertone X1/9 with a 1500cc 85hp engine .... in the morning while driving to school we often encountered each-other ... no need to say the ride became pretty spectacular ... two 18-19 year old rookies trying to beat each-other 
... .
This X1/9 was a very fun car to drive ... rear-wheel drive, mid-engine, targa-roof , very nice exhaust-sound .... but unfortuntely very slow on the brakes ... after one or two emergency-stops you had to wait for a couple of minutes using the brakes again .... those where the eighties ! Wow, look at how low that engine is placed...
Dry sump lubrication really does lower the engine placement by a couple inches! That's a really nice cross section of a car's front axle.

IMO, The Quail Lodge and Concorso Italiano are very different in attendees and atmosphere. I do have to say that the food was excellent especially since they had to cater for so many people. -MW
