6 Cylinders, 220 HP, not a monster in terms of power, but enough to have a sweet drive in class. The next best thing after the E Type? Nice interior... And dashboard, at the exception of these damn weird water, oil, fuel and battery indicators. Credit pho...

Absolutely..next to the e type… AND

At least you know the battery gauge is working 🤣😂🥹

LOL.

I absolutely love this one

As a kid I did not appreciate it--I was a partisan of the E-type, and thought of this as far too stuffy. Now I love this, especially with the hardtop, and occasionally imagine owning one (though I have no place or use for a second car!). Jim Jarmusch, fro...

Yes, I totally agree.

Yeah, others as well. But from today’s standpoint they are an epoch feature that. I like it…

I like also the steering wheel of Citroën from this epoch… 😂

👍🏻😂

Well, it‘s not an Alpine… 😅

By far!

Attractive coupé forms.

Agreed.

The front is marvellous.

I love that long and flat bonnet and the friendly slightly aggressive face. Fits in line with 80s Maseratis and BMWs. And the best rear end of them all has the shooting brake called Lynx Eventer.

Of course!

I still see a few of this on our roads but rare.

Timeless lines and great presence.

Exactly what I felt.

Reliability issues?

 By: amanico : January 23rd, 2024-07:58

These seem to be getting a bit more attention now

I’ve just posted our one on a separate post.

Always loved the XJS a lot . Owned a few Jaguars in the past from XJs and XK .

Classic GT cruiser.

Better with the V6 or V12? The answer might depend on your access to a good mechanic 😉.

“More noblesse”… well said.

 By: RabidManatee : January 23rd, 2024-21:24
I wonder if the 12’s intoxicating rush of torque would be made up for by a lighter car and ostensibly better handling of the V6. Would be a fun experiment!

Agreed!
