I assume I’m somehow the culprit. I made an answer about photo effects and replied to a different member who jumped on the issue and bashed APs reliability. The OP then decided to answer a reply not directed at him where he came at me. The OP then deleted his initial reply and replaced it with another. Bad form.
Any counter point and humour I tried to use was met immediately with an escalation. If I had not stopped replying the back and forth would still be going.
Question-Why are most if not all AP hexbolts all off?
When I look at AP front hex bolts the middle line that bisects the head are all off and not equidistant. Some are in the middle some are off a little and one or two are way off. Is there a reason why AP does this? Can they not use all the same hexbolts?
The fake pictures fix this but in actuality it's crystal clear
No loupe required. Just look at all AP watches on this forum and you can see it.

I brought this question on because I wondered why AP would do this since it seems a bit strange to me. I just find it odd putting hex bolts on a watch that are mismatched.

Objectively you seem to be bothered. All I did was ask a watch question on a watch forum but your posts seem a liitle passive aggressive.
Why wouldn't you be ok unless the hex misalignments truly do bother you deep down?

Disproven. Actually your picture totally verifies what I am saying. Multiple Hex B are off on that 26400. Great watch but hexes are off. Two things can be true at once.

It's funny you say 'they stop looking so hard and open their eyes.' It's when the eyes are open that you can see the misalignments

No worries. asking watch questions on a watch forum does not eat away at me. Isn't that what a watch forum is for? Seems logical to me. However I have a feeling that a lot of AP owners will now look at the hex bolts more closely now.

Are you referring to the hex slot? They follow a clockwise pattern. I quite like that. But no likey, no buyey, simples.
Yes the hex slots
When the slot bisects the hex you can see that they are not all in the middle and the two halves of the hex are unequal not to mention some of the slots are thinner/thicker than others. Has nothing to do with like or dislike but misalignment on the bolts....

It's such a shame that a simple question can't be asked...
Without the asker being attacked. If someone loves a brand, or watch, that's fine. But to go after someone when they ask a genuine question says so much about the aggressor, and feeds a stereo type. It's too bad. Some of AP'S other watches are okay.
