I realize is a touch & go issue - its's never happened before to me. The other issue was there was a huge wobble when the crown was pulled out and the Stem (literally) threatened to fall apart. Both were attended to in the earlier service and I did compliment and thank AP NYC in person whilst taking delivery, post service.
I have mentioned in the other thread, perhaps it's my bad luck and the watch is jinxed - I am very fond of it and love wearing it (unfortunately, sparingly is the watchword here) but maybe I have a troublesome child here.
Much as I admire AP for its watches, as a brand and for its heritage, my tryst with AP stands concluded - not to demean AP but my experience has been far from satisfactory. And having said that, I am sure others have had a great and wonderful experience.

My luck with AP seems to be getting worse. Within a year of picking up a boutique edition of 15400, the watch started loosing power and I was told it was magnetized. I thought I had been very careful - as I am with my other watches but accepted what was s...

their Customer Service Manager told that they will focus on quality! That plus ceramic crown should probably compensate the weak movement, simple dial to the extend that the "value" is 2 times Rolex Daytona Ceramic or the fantastic MB Cronograph with Mine...
I try to see the funny part:

I loved the statement: "We will not increase our production but focus on quality". That's like admitting: "Earlier when we had enough buyers, quality was not that important". Just think about ROO and what you get with the money. It's funny or should I say...
Here is my question.

Why do you continue to deal with AP - Singapore after all of your MANY alleged difficulties? For that matter why do you deal with AP at all? From the sounds of things you'd be much happier if you simply moved on from AP. And given that you've "exploded" a...
With due respects to AP

Dr. K's is not the issue here, he is a collector & why else would he pay 50K+ for a 'new' time piece. He could settle on a 'fruit' strap.....He bought it & I sense because he wanted 'The AP' We interact in a virtual world - My issues, aside, I would be mi...

With due apologizes - I've been around, my posts may not be much - I lurk, I watch & indeed, I learn. Purists started out as an AP Blog - yes?? From Jack F, 8 Om++, & the founder... The blog is never nor will be larger than any brand - or the passion we s...
I do not disagree Mally.

I'm not sure I understand why you add "with due apologies" or "sorry".... your words are not at all offensive. I do not own AP, nor have I blindly defended them. My personal experiences have been exemplary. Obviously yours and others have not, and that is...
