Hope you'll be having your RO on your wrist again soon!
When it comes to little screws and big brands, a small thing can become a big deal.
I wish all the things I do in my life and at work would turn out and work with as little flaws as most luxury watches we so proudly wear on our wrists today. Or would be as easy to fix.
Sure, I had the occasional screw popping its head out, and magnetization is everywhere today - phones, speakers, money clips. But so far, while mildly annoying, all of these minor issues could be resolved, and I hope for the same in your case!
Our love and passion for timepieces should always keep some human element despite the seemingly cold mechanical heart that's ticking. Regardless the price, nothing will ever be perfect or wouldn't need maintenance, even when being used the way it was meant to be used. I've seen a skeletonized perpetual calendar on a golf course... Certainly a disaster that followed.
All the best and hopefully you won't be too much dishearted -
Semper Fidelis
