Advice please…
Got a call from my AD today … he is working on my “wish list” and I need to tell him in order of priority…
A. 15202 platinum green dial for AP house ( I have the regular 15202 in steel )
B. Black ceramic open worked double balance wheel
C. Black ceramic open worked perpetual calendar

I have tried on all three and would be immensely happy with any one of them…
I would not sell any so secondary value is not a huge consideration but it’s always good to have an appreciating asset …
Am leaning towards C-B-A because I have a 15202 so ultimately I may not feel like a “new” addition to the collection and between the 2 ceramics, i think a grand complication kinda trumps an hour-minute-seconds no matter how lovely the later looks …

Not a problem I can envisage having anytime soon, but would be C B A for me as well. Certainly C would be top of my list.

Your avatar is of a 5740/1G, so if that is still in your stable, you be better served with adding B. It’ll add a new material (polished black ceramic) and exquisite skeletonization, albeit with improved isochronism (with the double balance wheel). Happy l...

I think also with the 50th on the jumbo next year there will probably be additional models to consider. Ceramic is still not easy to get and for those pieces, AP HQ needs to approve, so best to get it in ASAP!! Cheers and good luck!! Peter
