And thank you for referencing my post above! I only have the one Audemars Piguet (the Millenary Pianoforte), but might spring for a Millenary Quincy Jones or Jules Audemars Ultra-Thin over the next few years.
It may be sacrilege to admit it, but I have never really been a fan of the Royal Oak. It's not that I don't like it, because I know it's a magnificent design with a terrific history, but because I have more classical rather than sporting tastes, and also because I don't really like the endorsements that many of the RO and ROO series watches have. I couldn't bring myself to buy an Arnold Schwarzennegger "End of Days" or Lionel Messi watch.
I'd rather worship the movement than the wearer, if you dig what I mean.
