Audemars Piguet

Thomas, since you ask

Thomas,

If there is any 'fault', it would be that AP makes RO and ROO like they are coins being spilled from a slot machine. There are 10 limited Editions for every 10 limited editions. There are ten non-limited editions for every ten non-limited editions. I speak figuratively, of course.

The perceived fault may be that AP has no restraint in turning out RO and ROO. They may even outdo Rolex for repeating themselves. This would be my answer.

But I completely agree, this is a profit-seeking enterprise, and I would do the exact same thing. For money.

BUT I would not do the exact same thing if I were creating 'art', which AP often claims to be making. I guess you can't have it both ways.

It seems reasonable to fault AP for making 'too many' RO and ROO's. Or if not that, then to fault them for claiming to make rare things.

Since this is a thread about AP models other than RO and ROO,  it naturally  draws comments about the over-population of RO and ROO.

isn't this well trodden ground?

And by the way, GREAT WATCH PPLATER!
