Reliability issues...
ZW has a lot of reliability issues, as it's an incredibly complex watch. The acceleration of the discs during the minute change is violent and requires a fast acceleration and fast deceleration. Most problems arrive from the disc change mechanism. Sometimes disc(s) will become misaligned. Sometimes the watch will just stop advancing time.
I have wound both old and new ZW watches back to back. The newer ZW is significantly easier to wind than the older ZW. But still overall significantly more difficult to wind than a normal watch. So a normal watch is easy to wind, a new ZW is difficult to wind (two orders of magnitude more difficult than a normal watch), and the old ZW is very difficult to wind (one order of magnitude more difficult than the new ZW and three orders of magnitude more difficult than a normal watch)!

As a purchaser of honey gold, I'm not sure I like it as much as normal yellow or rose gold. Yellow and rose gold have this incredible "richness" and warmth that just makes them likeable. Even bronze is likeable. Copper pots are likeable. But honey gold......

Winding that watch is so painful! The new one is slightly less painful, but still pretty bad. Thus, the Zeitwerk is great as a "special occasion" watch. But as a regular daily, it's just too painful to wind, and (lest we forget) reliability isn't exactly ...

The hours are indicated in Roman numerals: I, II, III, IIII, V, ... XII. The minutes are blank, 5, 10, 15, ... 55.
Excellent questions...
The gong rings at 7:52. But the five minute clock still shows VII:50. Audience only knows to take their seats from the audible gongs. When the time transitions from 7:59 to 8:00, the minutes discs will show 0 for the tens digit and 0 for the single digits...
Oh! I meant on the Zeitwerk watch the digits transition to :00
