...it's been going that way for a few years now. I can walk into a Patek AD today with $100k in my hand and ask to buy xyz watch. They will tell me to get lost. Same with Ferrari and other luxury brands. I'm not the 'right kind' of person.

No matter how amazing anybody’s Lange collection, they are simply not given a chance to apply for this “limited edition” (of 1!) because it will be assigned to the winner of a car show — regardless of their prior relationship with the brand. Totally legit...

The timepiece is really beautiful. Also the choice to leverage a 1815 chrono since it usually sits very nicely on the wrists. I have a question relating to engraving: if my memory serves me right, it was possible earlier to order from ALS customs caseback...

A plain salmon dial is gorgeous but sometimes a contrast color can be just as playful and beautiful at the same time imho

I think maybe a tone on tone sort of combo would be nicer…like a darker salmon pink (I.e. more “raw”) on the sub registers could be interesting. Somewhat like cooked salmon versus salmon sashimi. Best Gatsby
