I think you should keep the Aquanaut...
It's discontinued and will be a good sports watch to compliment different lifestyle and purposes, as you mentioned.
Rolex is not the same as Patek. Once you switch it.....chances are you will be thinking of it later when you see one in the wild, while you're wearing your Rolex.
You just have to be wise about where not to wear the Aquanaut....just my 2 cents.

It's clear you (or your sub-conscious) want Lange people to look at your dilemma and encourage you to change your Patek for a Lange!

It really comes down to
your use case. Lange is great. I see it more as a dress watch. Aquanaut is a sports watch in the end. If you want to go somewhere in between my advice would be to look at the VC historiques. If it’s more formal Lange is a great choice.
I've got the same Aquanaut and had similar thoughts but then I realize that if I let go of the one I have it's very unlikely I'll ever own one again. Langs are very different but wonderful. Certainly
some watches attract the wrong type of attention but I worry about any nice gold watch that doesn't look like a goldtone Invicta or Nixon. I guess I worry that creeps might have better radar than they used to.
Are you wearing the rolexes?
If yes do the upgrade, if not switch those out for the lange.
In my opinion, in terms of looks, Lange wins. In terms of brand name, Patek wins.
