Now with the new dial, I am starting to like it more! Although, I now wish for the hands to change and for the watch to be generally cheaper :p

I really like the case and the movement, they are awesome! The hands and dial are my problems and they have fixed one out of two, and the bigger one of the two! So I actually like it now, but it is still not my fav ap but getting close!

Hands on opinion about the Code 11:59.

Today I decided to do a “drive by” to the AP Boutique, since I broke under the forums presure😜 and decided to buy the Montoya Titanium that I had on loan for a week. I needed to order a new strap, and also a rubber strap so I can make it a bit more wearab...
No offense

But that looks like a Daniel Wellington or Police watch my humble opinion of course
No offense taken, we all have different tastes

I totally disliked this watch myself when initially released, and maybe the dial color not for everyone but the movement’s precision and operation is quite impressive(and I handled a couple). Daniel Wellington wishes to have a movement as this!

I wasn't impressed at all at launch. But seeing it in person after has really started to make it grow on me. The blue and burgundy dials, in particular, are super pleasing to the eye.
I want to be very clear, NO HATE

but this dial just does not work for me, as a Purist, if you will... the date at 4:30 is not in tune with our ideals... the dial is clearly more than an Homage to Moser, God Bless Moser, OK that's no problem, but it should be noted. As collectors.... we h...
I see your point and I agree with most of your points.

However I would mention that in our modern times, every brand is copying someone else, sadly it’s hard to find originality, so maybe this is why this watch is so controversial!? While it’s not the love of my live, as watches go, the movement’s precision i...
THE DATE! Hahahaha, I know how you feel about it...!
By: ZSHSZ : August 13th, 2020-04:03
I was totally against this watch, I didn’t understood what AP tried to do, but seeing in the metal, I start to like it. Now off course, burgundy, purple, is not for everyone or an everyday wear, but it’s a very impressive mechanical achievement as I see i...
I looked at these as well, both the HMD and the Chrono

My impressions are similar - the dial colour graduation is very nicely done, the casework is beautiful, so is the movement. The problem I had with it is that the dial design is quite generic, and my biggest issue is that the fonts used for the hours, the ...
Thanks for your detailed post and opinions.

I saw them once last year at a boutique. Since day 1, the case design / structure and movements have been ultra alluring to me. The recently launched dials are definitely nice to my eyes. I expect to own a piece from this collection in the coming year or ...
I completely see your point, I have the same feeling with Lange.

Sadly lately it’s really hard to find originality in the ocean of horology, specially if if you’re an old sailor... I don’t get impressed anymore by any press releases, or any photos. Regarding the 11:59, I think this watch is a real sports watch, packed ...
