Thanks. Correct, when I came up with my username I just started in getting into watches. I wasn't fully aware of Lemania's history as the base caliber of much more prestigious brands like Patek, early Roger Dubuis and so many more. Considering the Lemania 5100 certainly has it's fans the overall perception of this movement is it's a cost cutting measure from Lemania, made with inferior parts (plastic) etc. I laugh to myself thinking about that.

It's got the essentials. Date, day and chrono. What is not to like. And I may ask its size and thickness. Geross. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

43mm x 14.5mm

The lugsless design helps it feel a little smaller than 43, but thickness wise its definitely a nice slab of sandblasted steel.

Great watch. Classic tool watch we don't see often.

A sturdy, robust, cheap chronograph made to some German military specification where the center minute counter is the essential. There is a red line here between Orfina Porsche Design to Tutima, Sinn, Heuer, Fortis and even Omega A very interesting part i...

Similar style, different movement. Recessed crown and rubber buttons to match strap. Extended crown. Brandon, does yours have a similar crown arrangement? Mike ...

The B&R I hope to be re-issued. I like the recessed crown and integrated push button.

Back in 2004, the B&R catalogue was the first watch catalogue I got, and since then my passion for mechanical watch began.

That is too cool, Mike!

I'm afraid mine is just a regular crown ...

Also a true classic, but with ETA 7750 (present everywhere).

Obviously the military and the โ€œmilitaryโ€ chronograph inspires each other. B

Always a fan of this era Lemania 5100s
