The Type 20 line up
Agreed this line up will be a huge success for Zenith. Not sure if the 40mm is for me though. Little small. But I do think the diamond set Type 20 Lady line up which is also 40mm, will be extremely successful as they are reasonably priced, beautiful, and a popular size for women nowadays, especially in Asia where I see alot of girls sporting Panerais. I would have liked to see a 42-44 mm version personally, to seperate it from the womens line. It is a pilot collection after all, and pilots should be big, especially if you fly a WWI bi-plane! i guess they need a movement with the appropriate size somewhere between Elite and El Primero. A nice small 5011 movement would be delightful as we could have the pleasure of manual winding, and the wonderful lazy ticking that I get from the LE.
Did you know Zenith are the only manufacture that can write the word "pilot" on their watches?

those lugs make it look smaller, not bigger
I have the 57.5 and these lugs make the watch look smaller so this 40 mm will probably look smaller than for example a rolex sub. Maybe you want to try the 48mm too because I tried that one and it wears like a 45 mm radiomir

I love this Pilot line, classy & classic, but they are WAY too big...
Now, they've made it in a reasonably sized 40mm case and the result is sijmply superb. Just perfect! I am getting sooooo tired of big bulky watches. Even when they are superior watches, i can't help finding them ridiculously ostentatious and -yes- cheap. ...
