For me the leather strap. I can’t imagine the heft of a 50k platinum bracelet ! Plus I tend to not like bracelet other than sports watch. Otherwise this ref really caught me off guard. I don’t really like a lot of the zenith design language but the platinum case and the different details in the dials and markets. Superb. Holding me back is that I don’t really like the movement finishing at this price point. Also holding me back is I really want a 1908 in platinum and that would make this watch redundant. My dealer says they haven’t even received a 1908 platinum so who knows if I’d get it. They say I showed interest fist and have been forthright with my sub, Pepsi and gmt white dial. 🤷♂️
I do love that huge balance wheel though!

This is THE rule and there are only a few exceptions ( Panerai for example ) this is definitely a watch that needs a strap.

I just like the pattern (my old-fashioned taste again, I guess).
For me this watch belongs on a strap.
But not necessarily the rather boring OEM Zenith strap !!
The strap would be my choice — looks great with the intense blue dial.
Also nice to see the “quick change” spring bars. I can’t recall Zenith using them before.

Some examples might still be available here or there. I tend to agree concerning Zenith, but Caliber 135 is a true piece of horological history.
Bracelet would be my choice as the bracelet makes this combo absolutely bonkers!

Only problem is how much they charging for the bracelet. But sparkle of the watch goes well with the slightly sparkly platinum. I know how platinum somewhat glows/shines.. and that would go so well with this case. Leather is too subdued and doesn't match ...
if I had it on a strap,..
I would always miss the bracelet... once you see it you can't unseen .. So either no GFJ or with the bracelet.
