Yes, the Doublematic is a fantastic watch with a large number of useful complications in a tidy package at an attractive price point.
Would you have gone for the DLC version over the stainless steel if they had released it?
I have never been a fan of the black DLC style finish. I have one Zenith with DLC finish, and notice after a couple of years wearing it does wear off at the edges showing the titanium colour beneath. I think the whole black watches thing might also have run its course. Perhaps the new thing is white watches!? (For example the AP Royal Oak Offshore white ceramic diver)
Anyway I am quite sure Zenith will not disappoint but we will know very soon !

Yes, I understand. Perhaps the name alchron is misleading. Anyway it's a cool material even though it's not much lighter than stainless steel. From pictures I like it better than carbon fiber on a case. Thanks, Ramon
