Wrist Scan for the 29th of December is live!
As announced yesterday the theme is threefold - either a watch that entered or departed your collection during the year, or the one you plan to enter 2018 with. And if there has been no movement in your collection and you will not celebrate the coming of the New Year, or if you for some other reason feel like placing yourself outside the box, free is the final alternative
For me it’s been an eventful year horologically speaking. Many a GTG, putting faces to many an avatar, gaining new friends. In addition it’s been my first full year of being a Montblanc moderator. And then there were quite some incomings - unexpectedly so. I started the year on the assumption that it would be horologically barren, or threading water at best. Turns out I got much more than I believed

Starting with the excellent Zenith Cronometro Tipo CP-2, PuristSPro Edition (P15) - thanks goes to the team for making this happen and for the great result.
Then there was my first Montblanc - a Heritage Chronometrie Ultra Slim - and several vintage pieces I did not have on my radar, as well as some I have been hunting since the very beginning of being a member here.
And it is one of these - the Seiko Discus Burger SCBS017 - that I have decided to post. It may be relatively simple but it’s been probably the first ‘community watch’ here (in the SCBS005 and SCBS007 forms) - long term members feel free to correct me! And it’s great, if the long hunt is finally rewarded, even if the prey is not great game, generally speaking.
The second picture is of the watch I will enter new year with - my probably most universal piece. Namely the Grand Seiko SBGH035 - good enough for a suit or for jumping into the pool. And one of the stealthiest watches out there.
Looking forward to many great entries - let’s finish 2017 with a bang! And wishing all of you and your families a great year ahead!
