I have to say I really like the watch you let go. And a lucky friend who picked it up! As you say, the curved case back makes these wear much smaller than they appear but I also understand you in emotionally not feeling quite as comfortable with a ‘large watch’ - something that happens to me a lot 
Well I hope the acquisitions of the year more than compensated for letting this one go and would like to wish you a horologically - and generally - great year 2018!
