As mentioned in a response to a post in the announcement thread lately most of my watches have been ‘resting’. We are still in the process of moving and most of the time I do not bring up the energy for a watch change. Horofatigue? Who knows 🤷🏻‍♂️ So here...

But the combination of the Crazy Hours complication and this subdued execution (in the world of FM, that is 😉) got me 👍🏻

But I find in this version the retiring me can just about pull it off 😉

I think we all have these periods for some reason. Here a few I don’t wear enough and def deserves more wrist time imho Hagwe 🤗 ...  

Whether the DB, the Moser, the CvdK, Staudt or Ming, all are very cool pieces indeed 👌🏻👍🏻

… I guess most of us own watches which receive little wrist time. In my case and considering the very unsafe status of our streets in my city, Rolex watches are not recommended and also gold watches and Panerais which have to be reserved to be worn in spe...

Yes, we are in a safety status that having a bodyguard is a good consideration though I wish I’ll never need that. My gold watches, specially Rolex and Omega are almost always only worn at home or at our country farm exclusively or in very special occasio... 

In my defense, some of these are more winter watches. The Zenith has the most uncomfortable clasp of anything I’ve ever seen or worn! I’m just about to get a replacement clasp after a few years of looking. No excuses for the others!! JLC Reverso Grande GM...  

Seems your dressier pieces get less wear in summer? The Piaget is my absolute favorite here - a watch I would definitely like to get one day. From your experience prior to the last six months, what’s your experience with it?

The Piaget is an interesting watch. Obviously it’s extremely lightweight but the lugs are quite sharp so depending on your wrist size and shape one or more of the corners can be a bit of an irritant (my wrist is just over 17 cm in circumference). In the b...

The new deployant is shorter than the one it’s replacing and by all accounts is more comfortable and lies flatter on the wrist. The lack of lugs on the Defy 21 makes aftermarket straps a challenge. I’ll let you know how I make out with the new deployant w...

The JLC is actually one of my favorites - just that in the rose gold it’s not so much of a summer wear. In the heat an humidity I prefer lighter watches on bracelets if possible.

A little story, When our dear host, KM posted the theme I found a watch pouch that was branded Cartier and guess what, to my surprise it wasn’t a Cartier but the Zenith that hasn’t been on my wrist for more than five years ! .. time for service and a chan...

It’s obviously my fault, it was placed in the Cartier Watch pouch after an evening out and then forgotten especially with what has happened over the last couple of years. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.

Collecting over many years and not selling watches combined with locations and focusing on other watches. The finally, placing it in the incorrect watch case. My error 🤷🏼‍♂️

Here are a few last worn in early part of 2020.... For eg., the BP Leman Flyback, replaced the strap in 2020 but have not worn since..... and the Breguet, Moser and VC...... ...  

I guess it might have been that way for many of us during Corona and home office 🧐 Some really cool pieces there, the Breguet, Moser, BP, VC. Maybe some more strap changes? This usually works for me to ensure watches get more wrist time 😊👍🏻
