Well something good has come of the WS this weekend after all ๐
Sep 18, 2022,06:02 AM
Now thatโs a truly interesting animal! Any reason for the long hibernation? Apart from having a huge collection, that is?

And here my entryโฆ
By: KMII : September 16th, 2022-10:56
As mentioned in a response to a post in the announcement thread lately most of my watches have been โrestingโ. We are still in the process of moving and most of the time I do not bring up the energy for a watch change. Horofatigue? Who knows ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ So here...
How could you ๐โฆ
By: Cpt Scarlet : September 16th, 2022-11:07
Hello dear KM, good to have you as our host this weekend. These beautiful watches deserve more wrist time and enjoyment with you. Iโm feeling the love for a Frank Muller, after all these years and your Vacheron always gets me ! Best regards Captain
I might not be the typical FM wearerโฆ
By: KMII : September 16th, 2022-11:18
But the combination of the Crazy Hours complication and this subdued execution (in the world of FM, that is ๐) got me ๐๐ป
Some real classics thereโฆ
By: KMII : September 16th, 2022-18:17
Whether the DB, the Moser, the CvdK, Staudt or Ming, all are very cool pieces indeed ๐๐ป๐๐ป
Hello Watchonthewrist!! You are sharing five superbโฆ

Easy to understand that with all those changes of residenceโฆ
By: Subexplorer : September 16th, 2022-15:24
โฆ many of your watches were far from your possibilities of wearing them. I guess you are missing them so much as some of them like your VC are some kind of signature for you. The Crazy Hours FM and Doxa as well! Hope youโll be able to enjoy them so much v...
Thanks so much Abel!
By: KMII : September 16th, 2022-18:18
Hopefully you are right. Looking forward to seeing some of yours soon๐๐๐ป
Thanks so much HS111!
By: KMII : September 18th, 2022-05:40
They truly all deserve more wrist time - hopefully soon ๐ค๐ป
Glad you like it!
By: KMII : September 18th, 2022-05:41
Definitely a watch I deeply appreciate and that will get more wrist time soon ๐๐ป
Hello dear friend KM! Interesting Theme! By some reason or another
By: Subexplorer : September 16th, 2022-16:16
โฆ I guess most of us own watches which receive little wrist time. In my case and considering the very unsafe status of our streets in my city, Rolex watches are not recommended and also gold watches and Panerais which have to be reserved to be worn in spe...
Agree with you dear Watchonthewrist!
By: Subexplorer : September 16th, 2022-19:31
I love this watch so much. Problem here it is a Rolex and Gold! Very unsafe! But I wear sometimes at my office or on special celebrations. Thank you for your kind comments! Hagwe! Abel

By: Subexplorer : September 17th, 2022-13:23
I knew this was going to be a delight!
By: KMII : September 16th, 2022-18:20
Some true gems here and all deserve wrist time, although I fully understand your safety concerns. The Aquatimer pictures are sublime ๐๐ป
Thank you so much dear friend KM for your kind compliments!
By: Subexplorer : September 16th, 2022-19:34
Iโm glad you liked the Aquatimer shots. I feel it is a very photogenic watch, specially due to the three dimensional look of its dial and indexes and its thick case. I like it so much! Best cordial regards Abel
Thank you so much for your always so kind comments dear friend HS!!
By: Subexplorer : September 17th, 2022-13:22
Yes, we are in a safety status that having a bodyguard is a good consideration though I wish Iโll never need that. My gold watches, specially Rolex and Omega are almost always only worn at home or at our country farm exclusively or in very special occasio...
I used the criteria of anything that hasnโt made it in the past 6 months.
By: Timeout : September 16th, 2022-21:03
In my defense, some of these are more winter watches. The Zenith has the most uncomfortable clasp of anything Iโve ever seen or worn! Iโm just about to get a replacement clasp after a few years of looking. No excuses for the others!! JLC Reverso Grande GM...
That Piagetโฆ
By: KMII : September 17th, 2022-07:13
Seems your dressier pieces get less wear in summer? The Piaget is my absolute favorite here - a watch I would definitely like to get one day. From your experience prior to the last six months, whatโs your experience with it?
Thanks KM.
By: Timeout : September 17th, 2022-22:57
The Piaget is an interesting watch. Obviously itโs extremely lightweight but the lugs are quite sharp so depending on your wrist size and shape one or more of the corners can be a bit of an irritant (my wrist is just over 17 cm in circumference). In the b...
Thanks for the summary ๐๐ป
By: KMII : September 18th, 2022-05:43

Many thanks Abel.
By: Timeout : September 17th, 2022-23:00
The new deployant is shorter than the one itโs replacing and by all accounts is more comfortable and lies flatter on the wrist. The lack of lugs on the Defy 21 makes aftermarket straps a challenge. Iโll let you know how I make out with the new deployant w...
Thanks!
By: Timeout : September 17th, 2022-23:02
The JLC is actually one of my favorites - just that in the rose gold itโs not so much of a summer wear. In the heat an humidity I prefer lighter watches on bracelets if possible.
Hmmhh.. Let me see how to play this week..

The LeMania military watches are a personal favourite and I like your choice of Stingray strap on the LC 3072. Hope you are enjoying your weekend. Best regards Captain

I must confess โฆ
By: Cpt Scarlet : September 17th, 2022-12:36
Hello dear KM and friends, This theme feels like a confessional ;-). It would be very easy for this post to fill with Rolex and vintage watches, both are sleeping for very different reasons and should be getting more wrist time. The vintage pieces are use...

Wow Captain! What a sublime timepiece!!
By: Subexplorer : September 17th, 2022-14:24
That was a fortunate finding indeed!! This watch surely deserves to be enjoyed more often on your wrist! Five years is a very long time!! Enjoy it so much my dear friend! Cheers! Abel
Thank you Abelโฆ
By: Cpt Scarlet : September 17th, 2022-14:47
Itโs obviously my fault, it was placed in the Cartier Watch pouch after an evening out and then forgotten especially with what has happened over the last couple of years. Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
Easy to understand my dear Captain!
By: Subexplorer : September 17th, 2022-15:07
I wish youโll enjoy it so much now. What a superb watch! Have a nice weekend my dear friend. Abel

Dear KM.....where do I start?
By: S F : September 17th, 2022-16:33
Here are a few last worn in early part of 2020.... For eg., the BP Leman Flyback, replaced the strap in 2020 but have not worn since..... and the Breguet, Moser and VC...... ...
It it more the time for sporty watches for you?
By: KMII : September 18th, 2022-06:28
I guess it might have been that way for many of us during Corona and home office ๐ง Some really cool pieces there, the Breguet, Moser, BP, VC. Maybe some more strap changes? This usually works for me to ensure watches get more wrist time ๐๐๐ป
Thanks ๐
