I could visit their booth at the Salon Belles Montres in Paris in November and I spent so much time discussing with them and admiring their watches.
Our wish list have enough watches to wait to have One of each brand before thinking about getting a second of one we already have. But De Bethune is so obsessing that I would seriously consider a second one before others I don't have.

For watches and for chocolate. I always wonder how the Belgians can make outstanding Chocolate, considering that the Cocoa nuts are made elsewhere (on the North of the country here, as an example). We have Belgian chocolate shops, on upscale shopping mall...

I just googled a bit ... in 1907 there were 3387 breweries in Belgium (7,000,000 inhabitants) .. in 2001 we had a 100 .. in 2009 there were 150 ... of which over 120 in Flanders ... so in a radius of 25 miles from where i live there are at least 20 brewer...
We can drive ourselves ...
.. on the way to the abbaye ... but i fear we will need a cab on the way home :-) ... .. or we could end up in trouble ... :-) Bim ...
