There were more Classics this month . . .

. . . than expected, making for an arduous if not difficult decision.

jml's oft-seen two-tone Tradition . . .

. . . qualifies as fun, if not outright funky.  Same goes for his JLC; nothing overtly funky 'bout it . . .

. . . but how many '50s watches do you see with power reserve indicators, much less prominent ones like the Futurematic?

h and . . .

. . . Abel . . .

. . . both shared similar JLCs with shaped cases.  Borderline funky, definitely unconventional.

Not sure Kristjan's Seiko Disc Burger qualifies as Classic as it's not even twenty years old yet . . .

. . . but when he turns 21 he'll be on everyone's Classic Funk list.

WotW usually shares current production but his Seiko qualifies as both Classic . . .

. . . and funky.

Besides his trove of '70s JLCs h also shared his vintage FF . . .

. . . which scores low on the funk-meter but sky-high on the 'wow, watta watch!' spectrum.

Cap's Zenith Montre d' AΓ©ronef isn't exactly Classic in terms of when it was made, but qualifies for consideration due to its funk factor of immense size . . .

. . . and falls under Classic on account of its movement, which would by all accounts be the zenith of vintage movement design.

Similarly, Seiji's Lange receives consideration on account of its massive presence . . .

. . . and historically notable origins.

K and WotW both submitted Amidas . . .

. . . which are off the funky chart in a good way, and old enough to qualify as Classic.  Bravo!

In similar fashion Abel and Seiji share an uncommon Longines . . .

. . . that's both aesthetically and technically funky, not to mention 20th century production.  High marks on all counts.

What can I say about Larry's Fortis?

This has gotta be the Nile Rogers of watches.

Finally, we have the ultimate funk tool watch.

Functionality and funkiness meet at their apex with Abel's 910 Flightmaster.

Bronze is a tie between Seiji and Abel Longines, Silver to Larry's Fortis, and Gold to Abel's Omega.
