The Theme for Wrist Scan of March 22nd is: "Watches Bought on Travels"

Hello friends!!

Just a couple of weeks ago I returned from some much waited and needed vacations days and as usual with my trips, my favorite souvenir from this trip was a watch (well… actually several watches! OMG!)

This made me think that watches bought in travels would be an interesting theme for our next week end  WS which I will be having the pleasure of hosting.

Travels not only give us the chance to discover marvelous places and people and to meet good old friends as well, but also to find Watch shops and Boutiques of our favorite brands. The temptation of returning home with a watch as souvenir is strong… and convenient!

Most of our members are fond of traveling for pleasure or need to travel for business reasons and I´m sure some of the watches in their collections were bought during a trip and now they bring nice and fond memories of the place and circumstances of their purchase every time they are on their wrists.

So…   I will be opening the Thread on next Friday at 0 hours Singapore as usual asking to send pictures of your souvenir watches bought on travels for the three categories (wrist scan, watch of the week and static) and of course a short story about the place and circumstances related to the watch will be welcomed!
