Only recently I was able to learn that the "film noir" style was created because the scenarios were poor and someone decided to use this style of shooting to hide it.
. . . you were the sentimental type, Horo . . . and Valentine's is just around the corner, too! Well, if Ms Horo can borrow an MB&F, the least I can do for black Connie . . . . . . is to get her . . . . . . new shoes . . ....
talking about shoes...there is a scene on shoes, if i remember correctly... - Sentimentality...like morality has become a relative measure, sadly. best, Horo This message has been edited by Hororgasm on 2012-01-12 11:26:53...
. . . I was the vintage movie buff around here. Never even heard of this one, and I'm a fan of Walter Slezak . . . one of the finest character actors, ever.
i cant appreciate Walter Slezak, havent watched many of his works. I only know Hitchcock's Lifeboat(?). strange thing is i like to watch classics when i am ill. Best, Horo
Skip SIHH? Skip our planned assault on the watch industry's female ankles? Skip days of hororgasmic musing, not to mention free drink and grub? Aaaauuugh! You will be missed, my friend. Best, Gary

My daughter is crazy about this one.... For the next generation? I would keep it with pleasure. Best, and congratulations, my friend. That makes me think that I must have a review on this one, hidden somewhere... Nicolas.
Yes, found her some months ago… Please post the review – this one I think is from a late batch. Markings and crown are different from yours. Thank you, my friend! Best Blomman

My wife and I are seeing a lot of 40's/50's movies (Art, you are not alone), mostly on the "film noir" class. My pics this week reflects this mood: A wonderful weekend to all, Nilo...
Only recently I was able to learn that the "film noir" style was created because the scenarios were poor and someone decided to use this style of shooting to hide it. No "glamour" but plain and simple lack of money.. Cheers, Nilo
