however, as you say, it suits the watch perfectly. much better than a thin 16mm NATO. it gives the watch more body.
these watches are easy to find and very cheap as long as your not looking for an early one or a specific year. there are loads from 69-73 out there. a nice quality hacking handwind movement inside that keeps pretty good time. what more can anyone want ? (ok, gold, platinum, moonphase, etc etc, but you know what i mean 
)

is rather non- german - need to see my friend to put it a balance one day - BUT even if its not the most accurate watch - mine at least - i weare it rather often - love to wind iit every day and at least think of it ---- the white gold was my first choice...
