i'm guessing a 561 calibre from the mid 60's. it looks pretty much the same as mine except its gold/capped. a great reliable and accurate watch that has timeless charm. it was wearable when made, wearable now and will be wearable in 30 years. Omega's answ... 

I know is definitely from 50s to 60s but that's is like saying fillet mignon is beef. I don't have access to a watchmaker and I wouldn't dare open the case myself to check. I like how the lizard skin strap looks. Making the watch a little exotic. What's t... 

i dont know what the original was, but probably croc or alligator as it was the high end Omega of its day. you need to invest in a caseback remover, its good to look inside and watch it tick away. best G

Hi Tyler, Some watches require specialised and proprietary tools, but thankfully these screwed back vintage Omega's are easy to get into with a generic tool such as this one. Available at many horological sellers for s few cents. Google is your friend. Lo...

Typical Queenslander! That's two of us, QJ. The voluptuously round case (it curves under just as much as it curves over) nicely counterpoints the almost severely correct rectangular form created by the lugs. (Deep enough for ya??!) Cheers, pplater.
