Nice to see yours as well
I have reason to hope about the Benrus. There are few active watchmakers in my area who have the skills and desire to work on older non premium watches. But today I visited a semi retired gentleman to pick up my Bulova alarm - the earlier Junghans movement - and not only did he do a good job at a good price but he has a supplier of old parts. He seems to find it amusing to work on these and to chat with me, so I will see how long his patience and eyesight last!

however, as you say, it suits the watch perfectly. much better than a thin 16mm NATO. it gives the watch more body. these watches are easy to find and very cheap as long as your not looking for an early one or a specific year. there are loads from 69-73 o...

i was lucky with the strap which finishes it off nicely. gets some pennies out, theres a Benrus with your name on it somewhere and pennies are all you need. as for your new new shipment, if you dont show and tell how can we say how nice it is ?? best Grah...

The star display (very flat crystal) actually suits my wrist better - Eric has been wearing the chevron. The problem with these watches is that I find the minutes hard to read with older eyes, so they are likely to leave my watchbox sooner rather than lat...

thanks Jed. i gave the measurements somewhere, but i'll happily say it again. case is 34mm, lug width a mere 16mm. monocoque case with every piece of info you could need stamped into it which is typically US Military. Best Graham

is rather non- german - need to see my friend to put it a balance one day - BUT even if its not the most accurate watch - mine at least - i weare it rather often - love to wind iit every day and at least think of it ---- the white gold was my first choice...
