It's cal. 751, though :-) But, yes, my gut feeling was this is "a great buy" after careful examination!! Ken

I think it has to do with a more and more outspoken taste and associated choise. As I'm not really into vintage watches, this means that with the current watch prices, one must be 100% convinced of his choise....I've been close to decide for a De Bethune ...

I am having a watchmaker inspecting it to prevent future wear and tear and to assess the state of the watch´s movement. If anything should be wrong there, it seems best to know it early :-). Kind regards anaesdoc

I absolutely share your view on servicing, Art. As a physician I also think it is much better to prevent a disease rather than to find a spectacular (and expensive) treatment. The indices on the vintage pie pan Connies are great and your black honeycomb p...

But the seller knew what he had and he was in control. As a buyer you take a little risk but you buy it as if it was completely restored. The restoration cost is annex to the raw provenance of the watch that I can share what it looked like and what it bec...

My last catch was couple of months ago. But it wasn't for me. My wife has also wanna get a Happy Diamond watch, but I wasn't inclined to cos none was mechanical. But this year, Chopard finally luanched the automatic Happy Sport series. We are both happy. ...
