It was certainly an unexpected find and a great souvenir of LA. I don’t think Art or I quite believed what we were seeing at first: the solid gold case and De Ville badging against the funky blue accents and Dynamic design. Totally goes against my ‘house ...

i've seen more than my fair share of Omega's,but i dont recall ever seeing a Dynamic with a dial like that. very nice indeed and i probably would have jumped on it if i'd been in your position. best Graham

Hi Garry, It's unusual isn't it? Unfortunately I don't have the tools to get the case open and check serial numbers; frustrating. I would think it dates to the mid-1970's. Do you think there would be a modern market for this sort of watch? I will post mor... 

... i have not seen this dial color with this pattern before... to be my knowledge, DeVille + Dynamic is also quite rare! i have one Geneva Dynamic blue dial which looks quite similar as yours (both second hands are in orange red). my one houses in Cal.75...  

Now that I look into it more carefully, there was such a range of colour combinations and finishes. We should try and collect a few into the one thread. I assume the date-only Dynamic came first, followed by this day-date model? From what year is your Dyn... 

according the reference number, my day-date Geneve Dynamic was ca1970. for the model of this kind, it requires special tool to open the case. unfortunately i do not have that. but i still keep the pic supplied by the seller, here is the movement pic. stef...

Hi Art, thanks for your comment about my Sinn. Actually the model I posted is a Sinn 356 Sa Flieger which is not really uncommon over here in Europe. I value the day-date indication during night shift weeks or holidays, i.e. during periods when you easily...
