Our July event "The Special One" is closed. Our Judges are working very hard with their veredicts...

Jul 07, 2024,20:36 PM

Hello dear friends:

Our July event is closed now. I wish to thank all participants for their interesting and great answers to our Theme.

We knew that it was so difficult to choose just one Special Watch and even to choose three as a maximun.

Now our Judges will go through some difficult task to choose the winners of each category among so many awesome watches and photographs submitted.

Our judges are:

Honorable Captain Scarlet for Best Wrist Shot Category

Honorable KMII for Best Static Shot

Honorable Dr. No (Art) for the special category "Best Classic Watch"

I will judge Best Watch of the Month category among all watches submited during the weekend.

The judges will be posting at their convenience as per their different time zones and personal engagements so we expect some veredicts to arrive tomorrow Monday.

Judges please post your veredicts in this same thread.

I hope everybody enjoyed participating as much as me being your  host.

I wish you all a nice and safe week ahead.
Cheers! Abel

I don't envy you having to make choices here! Watches with a story are extra special, and I loved seeing everybody's entries. A bit of back story on my Reverso Chronographe Retrograde: the reference dates from the year my daughter was conceived (not born)...

Now that’s more special…

Perhaps humans will someday evolve longer wrists, allowing for regular wear of multiple watches. ;-)
