Hello dear friends! Here my veredict for Best Watch of the Month.
Jul 07, 2024,22:26 PM
We have received a great response to our Theme "The Special One” making so difficult to choose a winner in any category.
As I kept reading every submission received for this event I felt that in order to award The Best Watch category the motives and stories which made these watches so special for their lucky owners should be considered before their beauty or mechanics achievements.
For this reason I also felt that every single watch shared during this week end deserved the title but some of them deserved an special mention.
And this Special Mentions go to the following:
Anselm and his Lange 1815 chronograph a wedding gift from his parents shot against a breathtaking view of NY skyline:
Thomas_3 and his Lord Engil a first Christmas's gift from his mother to his father after their marriage.
Enjoythemusic and his couple of Omega Dynamic from his father and mother
Captain Scarlet and his stunning Patek worn in his wedding day and his first watch of this prestigious brand.
Markosa and his Stowa bought to celebrate his graduation and his first job and having same number matching his age at the time:
Smironov and his stunning GP triple bridge and tourbillon visible on its dial: (don´t know the story behind this one but it kept me drooling while viewing it on my screen!)
Modernahab shared a superb Reverso LE from 1996 which was the year of his daughter birth.
And last but not least Art/Dr No and his “billion-to-one 1956 Omega Seamaster which certainly has the most extraordinary story ever behind which you can read entering “original pantry” in the search engine of our Piaget Forum.
Big congrats to all Mentions extensive to all participants for owning such extraordinary treasure of Special watches in their collections!!
Have a nice and safe week ahead and keep enjoying and loving your Special timepieces in the best of good health!
