nice topic...so I'll be nostalgic and refer to it as 'good old times'....

and I'll play with one piece...from the good old times....
I love all my modern watches, but somehow, a vintage piece with a rock solid history that still survives into our times...what shall I say, it's another sensation, right???
somehow I like to compare vintage watches to classical music....modern music could be great, but a symphony of Mozart, Schubert or Brahms that is still with us after 200, 150 years and still evokes emotions, that's another story....
so here we go, not that old as a Mozart's symphony, just from the beginning of the 1950's (actually 1951), powered by one of the most legendary Swiss movements, caliber 89, in a classical beautiful case with legs...or lugsπ€ that I love...and with such a sexy domed glass...
I love this piece from the good old times when watches were made to primarily function as a necessary daily tool and not for showing off or pieces of jewelry..
nice weekend everybody, y
