My current grail is . . .
Mar 07, 2020,19:53 PM
. . . an Omega ref 2410 rg chronometer . . .
. . . with grey dial. I believe this one belongs to Erich.
The Omega central was a grail for a very long time; even if I could afford one today, it's possible I wouldn't take the plunge. It's still my idea of a perfect watch . . .
. . . it's just that I'm no longer sure I want a watch that's objectively perfect. These days, I'd rather have a watch that's perfect for me.
Black Connie was a grail early on . . .
. . . and, as fate would have it, I managed to acquire her a few years after first setting sight. So, in a sense, I've achieved a grail.
Still my personal . . .
. . . favorite. I've others I'd never let go for sentimental reasons, but Black Connie is the one in my collection I'd happily wear every day if all the others had to go.
Best,
Art
